After 19 years of working for Clearwater County, CAO Ron Leaf has resigned.

According to a media release from Clearwater County, Leaf's last day was on November 9th. The appointed Acting CAO is Rick Emmons.

Leaf says in his own release that he came to the County in 1998, in part, because of the long-standing, positive working relationship between Clearwater County, the Town of Rocky Mountain House and the Village of Caroline.

"Throughout my time with the County, I have endeavored further enhance the relationship between the three municipalities, provide sound advice to council and support and encourage one of the most dedicated and intelligent municipal Administrations in the Province" added Leaf.

Continuing to serve the Rocky, Caroline and Clearwater community through various community groups is one of Leaf's goals.

Leaf concluded in the release that he believes that Council and himself are best served by focusing on their respective futures and, therefore, will provide no further comment with respect to this matter.
