Nov 15, 2017 | 5:00 AM

A long running community campaign kicks off today.

Santas Anonymous is a community-based program for people who may not be able to purchase gifts for their family due to financial circumstances in Rocky Mountain House, Caroline and Clearwater County.

“The program helped 370 children from 130 families within the community with over 85 volunteer’s last year,” said Campaign Manager, Dianna Austad.

Austad adds that she is very excited to be running the program for the first time.

“It’s a feel good program, the more I get involved in it the more I realize the need in the community for this program. I’m excited to help grow the program and just make it that much better from year to year.”

Applications can be picked up at the Town Office or on their website and the deadline is December 1, and they can be dropped off at the Town Office or the Christensen Sports & Wellness Centre.

Gift donations can be accepted at 14 different locations around town.

There is ways you can get involved as they are looking for volunteers to help wrap gifts from December 4-8, but you have to register.

Cash donations are also accepted and can be taken to Clearwater Realty, the Town Office or the Christensen Sports & Wellness Centre.

Hampers will be delivered to families December 8 and 9.
