Lessons learned for Rebels heading into final preseason game

Preseason games, by design, aren’t focused on wins and losses. 

They are about seeing where a team’s players are in terms of their overall development. That involves showing your strengths but also acknowledging which parts of your game need improving.

In that regard, Red Deer Rebels coaches were pleased with what they saw over the weekend in a pair of preseason games in Kennewick, Washington.

Friday, the Rebels outlasted the Tri City Americans 3-2 in what turned out, somewhat surprisingly from Red Deer’s perspective, to be a bit of a rough and tumble affair.
