Innisfail latest to issue fire ban

Innisfail is the latest Central Alberta municipality to issue a fire ban.

Due to exceedingly dry conditions, open-air fires of any type are not allowed under any circumstance within the Town of Innisfail, until the Fire Chief indicates otherwise.

This includes, but is not limited to, backyard fire pits and campfires.

As well, all fire permits issued by the Town of Innisfail are suspended until further notice.

Certified gas fire pits and cooking appliances are still permitted.
