Red Deer TBS Rampage take silver at Founders Cup

The Red Deer TBS Rampage claimed silver at the Founders Cup national junior B lacrosse championship.

The Rampage were up against the defending champion Orangeville Northmen in Sunday’s final in Saskatoon, falling by a score of 18-7.

Seven different players scored for Red Deer in the championship game. The Rampage were outshot by the Northmen 55-32. Orangeville also was 3-for-4 on the power play.

Ontario teams have now won 43 gold medals in the 46-year history of the Founders Cup championship tournament.
