EDMONTON- The Notley government is launching the first review of the province’s workplace safety rules in 41 years.
Labour Minister Christia Gray says the review will look at the law, how well rules are followed, education and enforcement.
She says the goal is to improve the prevention of injuries and illness.
The Alberta Federation of Labour says the review is welcome but long overdue.
