RED DEER- RCMP have laid charges against a man who is alleged to have broken into a female neighbour’s home after a pattern of harassing behaviours.

On July 2, Mounties responded to a report that a man had broken into his female neighbour’s apartment and entered her bedroom while she was sleeping.

Police arrested the suspect and began an investigation into a pattern of harassment that was reported to have taken place over the past year.

The victim was not injured during the break and enter.

Azizullah Shekeb faces a criminal harassment and a break and enter charge.

Shekeb has been released under a number of court-imposed conditions, including not to have any contact with the victim, and is scheduled to appear in Red Deer court again on August 18.
