Jail time for another accused in B&E to Westend Liquor Store

Jail time was served to a 20-year-old man accused in the 2015 break and enter of the Westend Liquor Store.
 
Cruz Bigchild faced numerous charges including break and enter, theft under 5-thousand dollars, and possession of stolen property.
 
According to Crown Prosecutor, Andrew Shatto, on December 20, 2015 police responded to an alarm at Westend Liquor Store. The front entrance of the store had been rammed into, causing $13,000 worth of damage. Three people entered the store and stole liquor and fled the scene. Police later found the vehicle located in the ditch.
 
26-year-old Crystal Maurice was sentenced 6 months in jail back in February of this year, and Darwin Anderson is also accused.
 
Bigchild will serve five months in jail and upon release, a 12 month probation.
