Feds give $11 million to 2019 Canada Winter Games

The federal government is now officially on board with the 2019 Canada Winter Games.

Carla Qualtrough, Minister of Sport and Persons with Disabilities was at École Mountview Elementary School on Friday to announce an $11.2 million contribution from Ottawa over three years.

Harris Centre Renamed Ahead of Canada Winter Games

The 2019 Canada Winter Games reached yet another milestone Wednesday in naming its legacy facility.

The Gary W. Harris Centre for Health, Wellness and Sport at Red Deer College will now be known as the Gary W. Harris Canada Games Centre.
