2019 Canada Games Torch, relay details revealed

The full extent of the first ever nationwide Canada Games Torch Relay has been unveiled.

The Roly McLenahan Canada Games Torch will be lit on October 4 in Ottawa before embarking through 48 communities on its way to Red Deer.

The new student residence at Red Deer College is described as striking a balance between desired privacy and social interaction.

2019 Canada Winter Games torch relay to be largest ever

The torch relay for the 2019 Canada Winter Games will be the largest in Games history.

The 40-stop tour sponsored by new national partner MNP was announced Tuesday at the Enmax Centrium.

Canada’s Commissioner of Official Languages stopped in Red Deer last week to help ensure the 2019 Canada Winter Games are still on track for being a fully bilingual event.
