Provincial funding to tackle homelessness and family violence in Central Alberta

The City of Red Deer and the Town of Sylvan Lake are receiving provincial funding to help address homelessness and prevent family violence.

Lethbridge chooses nightclub building for supervised consumption site

LETHBRIDGE - A harm reduction agency in Lethbridge says it will reach out to surrounding businesses to listen to and address concerns, now that a site has been chosen for a supervised drug consumption site.

Supervised consumption site would make community safer: Turning Point

According to a new survey, a supervised consumption site in Red Deer would not only be utilized by local drug users, but would likely reduce crime and debris in the area.
