Council Puts Temporary Lid on Secondary Suite Cap Discussion

A final decision on any changes to the cap on secondary suites in Red Deer will have to wait a couple more weeks.
 
City Council tabled their discussion after it became clear that a proposal from Councillor Lawrence Lee needed some refining.

Red Deer City Council took a step Monday toward improving our city's standing on the environmental stewardship front.

Last Summer, the Canadian Ambient Air Quality Report pegged our air as some of the worst in the country, based on levels of Fine Particulate Matter.

Legion Building Hit By String of Break-ins

Officials with the Red Deer Legion are frustrated following a recent series of break and enters.
 
Since July 12, there have been three confirmed break-ins at the Legion building on Bremner Avenue.
