Scott was predeceased by his maternal grandparents Bill and Iola Scot, paternal grandparents Lorne and Freda Mallett and his Aunt Elaine Nelson.

Scott attended school at River Glen and made many friends and acquaintances through his life with his sense of humour and feistiness.
Scott faced many challenges in life and continued to fight to overcome them. He had a great love for his family and his beloved and faithful companion, Rudy. His heart was tender but the road was steep.
