Red Deer hosts Annual Western Canada Sledge Hockey Tournament

Roughly 200 sledge hockey players have converged on Red Deer this weekend to take part in the 15th Annual Western Canada Sledge Hockey Tournament, also known as the Matt Cook Memorial Cup.

Randy Butler, 15, of Red Deer, is a Gr. 10 honors student at Ecole Secondaire Notre Dame High School and a competitive artistic gymnast with Exelta Gymnastics. She has been named the ASDC-Central Female Athlete of the Month for March, 2018.

ASDC-Central Female Athlete of the Month: Ruby Butler

An artistic gymnast from Red Deer has been named the ASDC-Central Female Athlete of the Month for March.

Ruby Butler, 15, is a grade 10 student at Ecole Secondaire Notre Dame High School in Red Deer and has been a competitive artistic gymnast at Exelta Gymnastics for the past 10 years.
