Scottsville Auto Group Gifts Cargo Van to The Mustard Seed

RED DEER- The Scottsville Auto Group is gifting a Nissan van to The Mustard Seed.

The vehicle will be used by The Mustard Seed to transport donations, food, and supplies from the generous businesses in Red Deer to its Support Centre location.

The donations are crucial to programs such as the School Lunch Program which makes and delivers over 350 lunches to 32 schools every school day in Red Deer.

The van allows The Mustard Seed to improve its overall operations and services to better serve those facing poverty and homelessness.

2017 has been another busy year with:

- 17,100 dinners served

- 53, 334 lunches made and delivered across 32 schools

- 445 supported Wellness Advocacy

- 819 Spiritual Care attendees

- 4687 Volunteers

 The Mustard Seed is a Christian non-profit organization that has been caring for men and women experiencing poverty and homelessness since 1984.
