EDMONTON – Alberta Health Services invites all Albertans to celebrate Change Day on November 17 and make a pledge to improve their health, their life or their healthcare system.
AHS and multiple partner organizations, are asking AHS staff, physicians, volunteers and the public to make a pledge and join this worldwide movement aimed at empowering healthcare providers and the public to promote meaningful change.
Last year, more than 6,000 Albertans made a pledge for change.
This year, the goal is to reach 10,000 pledges.
Albertans can pledge as an individual or as a team.
Visit www.changedayab.ca to join the Change Day movement and see what others have pledged.
Highlights this year include, a Grade 3 student vowing to cut her hair to raise money for cancer research, and the mother of a child with cancer committing to help other families in similar circumstances.
