Kentwood Meet your Neighbours night

By The City of Red Deer
November 6, 2017 - 7:21pm

Kentwood residents are encouraged to drop in to the Meet your Neighbours gathering tomorrow, Tuesday, November 7, 2017 anytime from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Kentwood Alliance Church (4 Kennedy Drive).

Residents can expect to:
- Meet their neighbours and learn other ways to connect
- Discover the best parts of the community
- Answer a few questions on what’s important about neighbourhoods
- Enjoy treats
- Leave with a snowperson kit for you and your neighbour

Kentwood is one of six neighbourhoods chosen to participate in a community pilot project funded by Red Deer & District Family and Community Support Services (FCSS).

The event is part of the Great Neighbours initiative, designed to help neighbours meet one another and build connections to boost health, promote safety, reduce isolation and increase belonging.

Highland Green, Inglewood, South Hill, Pine Lake and Springbrook are the other communities to participate.
