Royal Canadian Legion launches annual Poppy Campaign

The Royal Canadian Legion has launched its annual Poppy Campaign to honour, thank and remember those who sacrificed for our freedom.

Red Deerians, central Albertans and Canadians across the country are encouraged to show their support by taking some time to reflect and proudly wearing a poppy, the symbol of remembrance.

The Legion’s annual Poppy Campaign begins on the last Friday of October and continues until Remembrance Day, November 11.
