Students will turn their curiosity and love of reading and writing into masterpieces. Aspiring students and writers will have the opportunity to meet with writing professionals in their field at the 29th annual Young Writer’s Conference. This year, more than 240 nine and ten year olds from across Red Deer and area will have the opportunity to learn from Canadian writers, poets, illustrators and storytellers on Saturday at École Oriole Park Elementary School. Students will have the opportunity to attend three workshop sessions in which they have expressed a special interest including drama, painting, and journaling.
