Downtown Business Association Annual Report for 2017

RED DEER- The Downtown Business Association (DBA) has released its 2017 Annual Report.

It shows a continued focus on advocacy for the Downtown businesses, promoting the Downtown experience, and enhancing the safety, cleanliness and attractiveness of the core.

The report highlights information about the many projects, programs and events that happened in 2017 including:

– DBA subsidized programming available to Downtown business owners, such as the Façade and Shopfront Improvement program, CPTED (Crime Prevention through Environmental Design) and Adopt-a-Planter, which had the participation of 43 Downtown businesses in 2017
– Continued support by The Clean Team to enhance the safety and cleanliness of the Downtown through snow removal, garbage pick-up and the collection and disposal of needle debris
– The return of many successful, annual events including North Pole Stroll, Dine Downtown and the ATB Financial Downtown Market
