Local highways won't be affected by bankruptcy of UK road clearing firm

Local highways that go through Rocky Mountain House and Clearwater County won't be affected by the collapse of a multinational parent company of the one that maintains nearly half of Alberta's highways.

Carillon PLC was forced into bankruptcy Monday morning.

Some faith in humanity has been restored after a 16-year-old boy unselfishly gave $600 to the Hooterville Hilton Café after funds collected to help rebuild the Leslieville Elks Hall were stolen.
