Red Deer's Cunnington Soaks In Paralympic Spotlight On Parliament Hill

OTTAWA - Swimming Canada celebrated its 22 para-swimmers heading to the Paralympic Games in Rio on Parliament Hill today.
 
One of those swimmers is Red Deer's own Tammy Cunnington who has set Canadian and World Records in competitions en route to the games this September.

City Looking for Feedback on Redevelopment of Riverlands

RED DEER - The City of Red Deer is looking to move ahead with the redevelopment of Riverlands but wants some public feedback first.

A New Place to Buzz for Pollinators at Bower Ponds

The City of Red Deer unveiled its fourth pollinator park Tuesday morning at the east end of Bower Ponds.
 
The park covers close to 700 square feet and features numerous species of plants especially for pollinators, as well as a bee hotel.
