QE2 / Gaetz Avenue Interchange update

RED DEER- Starting tonight (April 20) northbound QE2 traffic will be moved back onto the northbound lanes of the highway as work on the QE2/Gaetz Ave. Interchange continues.

Southbound traffic will continue to operate in the southbound lanes.

Reduced speed limits will remain in effect throughout the construction zone.

The QE2 has been reduced to 80 km/hr as work is ongoing through the day and night.

Road users are asked to drive safely and obey the speed limits through the construction zone.
