Charges have now been sworn against two men accused in connection to a pair of robberies earlier this month in central Alberta.

RCMP say two suspects robbed the GTI Service Station locations in Sylvan Lake and Eckville on the night of April 3.

In both instances, one of the men was carrying a machete.

They were later arrested without incident in Rocky Mountain House.

Now, 21-year-old Dalton Collicutt and 20-year-old Callen Peters, both Rocky residents, each face two counts of robbery.

Their next scheduled court appearances are set for April 10 in Red Deer.
