Red Deer temperatures reach record lows

It’s been a record setting long weekend in Red Deer, which is exciting of you’re a fan of cold weather.
The mercury dipped to -21.7 Celsius at 8 a.m. on Saturday, setting a new record low for Red Deer for March 31.
The old mark of -19.4 C was set in 1975.
Easter Sunday also saw a new record for Red Deer as the temperature fell to a low of -27.2 C before sunrise, beating the previous April 1 mark of -23.3 from 1954.
