Women of Excellence Nominees announced on Thursday

RED DEER- The Red Deer & District Community Foundation will be announcing the names of a record number of Women of Excellence Nominees on Thursday at the Red Deer Museum and Art Gallery.

The public is invited to join the nominee reveal.

Doors open at 5 p.m. and the program will begin at 5:30 p.m.

Central Alberta women have been nominated in the following categories: Agriculture, Arts, Culture & Heritage, Athletics, Recreation & Fitness, Business and the Professions, Community Building, Education and Training, Entrepreneurship, Environment, Health and Wellness, Human Services and Young Women of Excellence.  

The Women of Excellence Awards Gala is a celebration of innovation, leadership, achievements and talent as demonstrated by women in the community.
