BOYLE, Alta. – An Alberta woman arrested during a police traffic stop is accused of impaired driving and causing children to be in need of intervention.

RCMP say officers were patrolling in the community of Grassland, about 150 kilometres northeast of Edmonton, on Sunday when they saw a vehicle speeding past another one on a double solid line.

The driver from Athabasca, Alta., was stopped and police say they discovered two six-year-olds and a five-year-old inside.

One of the children was not properly placed in a car seat as required by law.
