LETHBRIDGE- A 37-year-old Lethbridge man has been arrested and charged by the Alberta Law Enforcement Response Team after allegedly committing multiple sexual offences against a 13-year-old girl.

Gary Lippa was arrested by the Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) unit on February 22.

Officers also seized a number of computers and electronic devices from the home.

Lethbridge Police and RCMP began their investigation in September 2017

It was reported Lippa was allegedly engaged in sexualized online chats with an underage girl, and nude photos were allegedly exchanged.

ICE alleges Lipa made deceptive arrangements to meet with the victim and enticed her away from her caregivers.

When the two met in the person, ICE alleges Lippa sexually assaulted the girl.

Lippa has been charged with three counts of child luring, and one count each of abduction, sexual assault, sexual interference, invitation to sexual touching, making child pornography, accessing child pornography and possessing child pornography.
