Edmonton area RCMP shooting under investigation

EDMONTON- The Alberta Serious Incident Response Team is investigating a weekend shooting involving the RCMP in the Edmonton region.
Mounties in Strathcona County say they were called early yesterday morning to help paramedics deal with a stabbing.
They say during the call, officers at the scene fired their guns, resulting in a 40-year-old man being taken to hospital in stable condition.
No police or paramedics were hurt.
No other details have been released.
