RCMP lay charges followings threats to politicians and police

CALGARY- RCMP have made an arrest and laid charges against a Three Hills man accused of uttering threats towards former Prime Minister Stephen Harper, Calgary Mayor Naheed Nenshi and members of the Lethbridge Police Service.

On February 17, RCMP received information from Calgary Police Service that online threats had been made via Facebook.

Following an investigation, 31-year-old Dexter Shea of Three Hills was taken into custody.

At the time of his arrest, Shea was on probation for prior charges of uttering threats.
