Kings U18 volleyball season underway

The club volleyball season is now underway for the Men’s Central AB Kings Volleyball Club U18 team.

The Kings participated in their first Premier Feb. 10-11 in Calgary. The Kings finished second in their pool in the round robin defeating Lethbridge Volleyball Club two sets to none, Plamondon Volleyball Club two sets to one and lost to Elite West from Calgary two sets to one. 

In the crossover game, the Kings beat Northern AB Volleyball Club out of Edmonton two sets to none.

Sunday morning, the Kings dropped both sets to Calgary Canuck and were relegated to the B side. They went on to beat Grande Prairie Volleyball Club 2 sets to 1 and then got another shot at Calgary Canuck beating them 2 sets to 0 to finish 5th overall.

The Kings next action is on March 10-11 in Edmonton.
