Drayton Valley RCMP investigating after shots fired at person

An investigation is underway after shots were fired at a person in Brazeau County on New Year’s Eve. 

Drayton Valley RCMP say on December 31 around 7:15 p.m. Mounties received a report that occupants of a white crew cab Ford F-150 had fired gun shots at a person on Highway 624 near Range Road 64. 

Police say no one was injured and the suspect vehicle is believed to be a 2010 or newer truck.

Mounties are asking that anyone who was driving in the area between 7:00 p.m. and 7:45 p.m. that you report if any vehicles were seen parked or driving, anyone walking or attempting to flag down vehicles, or heard any gunshots during that time period in this area.
