Drayton Valley RCMP released photos of two suspects on Thursday in hopes of catching the individuals who stole a Cause for Critters donation box from a liquor store over the weekend.

Police responded to the B&B Liquor store on the evening of November 18. Mounties say two masked suspects entered the store and stole the donation box off the counter and then fled.

After reviewing security camera footage and speaking with witnesses, police said they believe a male suspect took the box while the female suspect stood by the door and kept watch.

Both are described as being 5'6", with the male wearing a white and charcoal snowboard jacket, dark pants, gloves and his face completely covered. The female was wearing a jacket with a fur lined hood, gloves and her face was covered up to her eyes.

Police are hoping the release of the photos will spark any tips and leads into who the perpetrators are.

Anyone with information regarding this incident are asked to contact Drayton Valley RCMP or call Crime Stoppers.
