Stolen dirt bike, gun parts and ammunition seized in Caroline bust

A Caroline man is facing several charges after Rocky Mountain House RCMP searched a Caroline residence on Thursday, November 9 and seized a stolen dirt bike, gun parts and ammunition.

Mounties say the Yamaha motorcycle had been reported stolen out of Didsbury, with the accused still in custody at this time.

The 51-year-old suspect faces six criminal charges and two provincial offences, including Possession of Property Obtained by Crime under $5,000, two Breach of Recognizance counts, Driving while Unauthorized, two of Possession of Ammunition contrary to a prohibition order and Operating a motor vehicle with no insurance or registration.

Mounties are continuing their investigation but anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to call Rocky Mountain House RCMP at 403-845-2882 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
