Red Deer – Mountain View MP Earl Dreeshen addressed the House of Commons on Thursday to talk about what many consider to be the best agricultural equipment buying show in Canada.

Agri-Trade 2017 will take place at Red Deer’s Westerner Park from November 8-11 and is a joint venture between Westerner Park and the Red Deer and District Chamber of Commerce.

Dreeshen told the House, “Agri-Trade will host over 470 exhibitors, representing the very best in agricultural equipment, technology, services and products from not only Canada, but from around the world.”

“This is an opportunity for everyone to see how our Canadian farmers and producers ensure that the food on our tables is the best in the world” said Dreeshen. “Our Canadian Ag Industry is vibrant and innovative, contributing more than $100 billion to our economy.”

Dreeshen encourages everyone to attend Agri-Trade to learn more about Canada’s innovative farming techniques and "meet the hard-working farmers and producers growing our food.”
