STING open ringette season with exhibition win

The Central Alberta U19AA STING Ringette club opened the season with a 6-4  exhibition victory over the Edmonton Elite  Saturday evening.

Scoring for the STING were Brianna Abell, Colby Wagar with singles and Hannah Morrison and Mckenna Causey with two each.

Gracie Setters was solid in net for the STING and earned the victory. The STING have eight returning players and nine first year players.

The team is coached by Shawn Wagar with Assistant coaches Steven Pluister and Tanya Doyle.
