Minor fire in lobby of Clearwater Centre under investigation

No one was injured after a minor fire occurred at the Good Samaritan Society Clearwater Centre this morning. 

At about 6:30am, Clearwater Regional fire crews from the Rocky station (#60) were called out to the assisted living home where a fire had occurred in the lobby of the building. 

According to Assistant Fire Chief Evan Stewart, crews only dealt with little smoke as the fire was pretty much contained due to employees pulling the fire alarm and using a dry chemical extinguisher. 

There was minor damage to contents in the lobby but not to the actual structure itself.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
