Red Deer’s Tammy Cunnington had what most would consider a fairly successful swim meet over the weekend.
Swimming at the Canadian Championships in Montreal, Cunnington began by winning gold and setting a season best time in the 50m butterfly.
Cunnington went on to earn a silver medal in the 50m backstroke, setting a personal best.
Finally in the 100m freestyle, she would set a Canadian record twice, first in the prelims and then in the final, taking gold in the process.
