Town CAO resigning in August

Jul 4, 2017 | 6:54 AM

After nearly eight years as CAO for the Town of Rocky Mountain House, Todd Becker will be resigning in August.

Todd has worked for the town for a total of 10 years.

Becker says lots of significant things were accomplished with his time here and he will miss everyone dearly.

“We have phenomenal staff” he says. “They are the most dedicated staff that I have ever worked with that are wanting to see their community grow and develop, they’re very dedicated and yeah, it’s going to be tough to leave to be honest with you.”

August 4th will be Becker’s last day as he has been appointed as CAO for the Town of Innisfail.

“We’re beyond pleased to have agreed terms with Mr. Becker, who throughout the interview process stood out as the clear choice for Council,” said Innisfail Mayor Brian Spiller. “His extensive experience, remarkable temperament, and broad familiarity with the Central Alberta region make him the ideal candidate for the job. We’re extremely excited about the prospect of working with him.”

Becker replaces Helen Dietz as Innisfail CAO. Dietz is retiring after more than 30 years in municipal government.
