The Red Deer Rebels made a trade on Thursday, sending forward Cameron Hausinger to the Kootenay Ice in exchange for a fourth round pick in the 2018 WHL Bantam Draft.

Hausinger, 18, came to the Rebels last November in a trade with Saskatoon. In 41 games with Red Deer he collected seven goals and five assists for 12 points.

A native of Anchorage, Alaska, Hausinger has 26 points in 119 career WHL games.
