Edmonton Police investigate death of a baby

EDMONTON – Homicide detectives have taken over an investigation into the suspicious death of a baby boy in Edmonton.

Police say an autopsy on the six-month-old baby was unable to confirm the cause of death.

Further tests will be done.

The infant was found dead Sunday morning at a residence near 142 Avenue and 77 Street.

Police say no further information is available at this time.
