RIMBEY- RCMP are asking for the public's assistance to identify a person of interest in the investigation of a minivan theft from the Rimbey Best Western on April 23.

At 6 a.m., a man arrived at the hotel on a bicycle, went into the hotel and stole a purse belonging to an employee.

The van has since been recovered.

Surveillance cameras at the nearby CanAlta hotel captured the attached image of a man matching the suspect's description.

Rimbey RCMP are asking anyone that can identify the person to call them at 403-843-2223.

If you want to remain anonymous, you can contact Crime Stoppers at 1.800.222.8477 (TIPS), or by internet at www.tipsubmit.com
