The Central Alberta chapter of the Canadian Home Builders’ Association has announced the recipients of the 2017 Central Alberta Excellence in Housing Awards.

"The Awards celebrate innovation, creativity and excellence in the residential construction industry in the Central Alberta region," the association says in a release.

Falcon Homes was crowned builder of the year large volume (building over 25 homes per year), while Platinum Homes secured builder of the year small volume (building 24 and under homes a year).

In renovations, Bowood Homes received top award for renovator of the year. To win these prestigious awards, entrants were awarded points received for housing and/or renovation projects entered in the CHBA-CA Awards of Excellence, in combination with results from customer and trade partner surveys.

“Congratulations to all of the award winners! Your commitment to building the best in new homes, renovations, and community development truly defines the Canadian Home Builders’ Association," says Denie Olmstead, Chief Executive Officer, Central Alberta Region.
