Food Truck Thursdays return for second full year in Sylvan Lake

Food trucks return to Sylvan Lake this week for another four-month run.
 
The second full year of Food Truck Thursdays runs from May 18 to September 28, with vendors open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
 
The location remains the same as well at 50A Avenue between 50 Street and 50A Street.
 
Ricki McLarty, Communications Assistant with the Town, says things will be a little bigger and better this year.
 
“There’ll be room for more seating as well as washroom facilities available. We have seven confirmed vendors. There’ll be six for the season opening and that includes four returning vendors,” she says. “We hope it keeps growing and that people join in and have fun.”
 
The season isn’t fully-booked, but vendors have been booked for each week, McLarty confirms.
 
“It’s one of our staff’s favourite times of the year, so we’re definitely looking forward to it,” she adds.
 
For registered residents, free parking is available on 50 Street. There is also a free parking lot along 50 Avenue.
