Expedia.ca has named Red Deer as one of its "34 Most Breathtaking Places in North America." Red Deer comes in at #26 on the list.
Destinations were selected for having photo-ready landscapes, extraordinary architecture and historic hideaways that distinguish each as North America's most beautiful places to visit.
Expedia notes one of the best features of Red Deer is “people can just as easily enjoy the lively downtown area as the great outdoors.”
Maskepetoon Park was named as a local favourite as well as the area along the Red Deer River including Bower Ponds.
Haida Gwaii, British Columbia tops this year’s list, followed by Coronach, Saskatchewan and Banff/Lake Louise.
