Another longtime fixture in the hamlet of Mirror has been destroyed by fire.

Firefighters from Alix, Bashaw, Clive, Lacombe and Mirror were called in after Mirror Lumber and Farm Supply went up in flames at about midnight on Sunday.

By Monday morning, the century-old building was reduced to rubble.

Police are treating the fire as suspicious.

Last February, the historic Imperial Mirror Hotel built in 1912 was also destroyed by fire. The building had been vacant for several years.
