RDC had a pretty easy choice for their Boston Pizza Athletes of the Week.
The Red Deer College Kings Volleyball gets the nod after they repeated as Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) Champions this past weekend. The Kings have won three of the past four national titles.
Regan Fathers was named the Tournament MVP to cap off an amazing individual season. Luke Brisbane and Ty Moorman were named First Team Tournament All-Stars and Matt Lofgren was chosen as a Second Team All-Star.

Next weekend, March 22-25, RDC’s Men’s and Women’s Curling teams will compete in Camrose for a national title. The University of Alberta (Augustana) will host the event.
Tickets are still on sale for the 14th annual RDC Kings and Queens Scholarship Breakfast, featuring guest speaker John Herdman, head coach of Canada’s national women’s soccer team.
The event goes Tuesday, March 28 starting at 7 a.m. at the RDC Main Gym.
