An RCMP search for a suspicious male that led to the brief lockdown of schools in Rocky Mountain House Wednesday morning had ended with an arrest.

Mounties say they have arrested a 16-year-old male without incident. Several charges are now pending against the youth, who cannot be named.

RCMP say they have also recovered the second of two stolen firearms. The first was turned up Wednesday along with a stolen vehicle.
