Mobile vending will now be an annual attraction in Sylvan Lake.

Town Council has given final approval to a new Bylaw that adds more locations, adjusts fees and varies the length of mobile vending licenses.

The move comes after a successful pilot project in Sylvan Lake last year.

Communications Officer Joanne Gaudet says the Town will be conducting an engineering assessment for the old Sylvan Lake Hotel site, which has been designated as a potential location for food trucks.

The regular mobile vending season begins May 1 and the Town expects vendors will wrap up operations by the end of the summer but licenses are available year-round.
