Charges Laid After Cocaine, Children Found In Alleged Lethbridge Drug House

LETHBRIDGE - Five children, including an infant, have been relocated with a family member after a southern Alberta couple was arrested for allegedly selling drugs from their home.

A man and a woman, both 39, were taken into custody after a search of their Lethbridge home last Tuesday.

Province Defends Carbon Levy

EDMONTON - Alberta Premier Rachel Notley's government is defending its new carbon levy.

The government says the added cost of the tax to the average Alberta family will be $338 next year and $508 the year after that to pay for higher gas prices and home heating bills.

EDMONTON - Alberta Premier Rachel Notley took a veiled shot at her PC predecessors in a speech today selling her new budget to the Edmonton Chamber of Commerce.

Notley trumpeted the 35 billion dollars in infrastructure projects now underway.

Sister of Travis Vader backtracks on testimony during murder trial

EDMONTON - Travis Vader's youngster sister has taken the witness stand and backtracked on statements she made to police investigators back in 2010.

The Crown now wants permission to treat Bobbi Jo Vader as a hostile witness.
